About me:
My promising 13-year career as a professional student came to a tragic end in 2002 when I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramics from the University of Florida. I continue my obsession with the potter's wheel in Gainesville, Florida, where I live with my wife, Christine, and our dog, Asha.

About my work:
My design aesthetic favors simple, clean shapes and unornamented surfaces. My pots are characterized by eccentricities of shape and surface that arise directly from gesture of the hand, motion of the wheel, and action of the fire. The pots I value most embody strength and vitality, but also resonate with a sense of calm and ease.
